Completed in summer 2011, this modern, spacious and airy hall is in an easily accessible location set in beautiful countryside with plenty of good off-road parking. The hall can easily accommodate up to 100 people. The hall was built as a facility to be used by the whole community with a view to bringing people together and offering both existing and new facilities, services and events. The hall is available for private hire to individuals, groups and businesses. Hall facilities include a kitchen, toilets, shower, baby changing facilities, hearing loop, disabled access and toilet, storage areas, staging and broadband. Come and see the hall for yourself to fully appreciate its stunning setting and all that it has to offer.
Our Vision is
‘To provide a centre for the communities which make up the parish of Kirkby-in-Furness and adjoining parishes. A Village Hall which is a vibrant social hub for all of our community: promoting social inclusion and interaction, developing a real sense of community identity, encouraging intergenerational work and providing a home for an exciting range of activities that meet the needs of all our people of all ages’.

We had a business meeting in the hall for 25 people and found it to be spacious, well appointed and clean - just what we needed. The value for money is truly incredible. The hall has great kitchen facilities. In booking the hall the manager was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The Community Hall at Grizebeck CIO, Kirkby-in-Furness, How to find us
The hall is situated in the village of Grizebeck on the A595, 1/3 mile from the main junction with the A5092. It lies 7 miles north west of Ulverston and 14 miles north of Barrow in Furness. From the A5092/A595 junction, on turning onto the A595 towards Barrow in Furness, the hall is found on the right hand side in Grizebeck village and the car park is at the rear of the building.
